Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at tracie@thrphotos.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

A rainy day is always a bummer at the beach, but it can lead to some beautiful images.  Generally, rain moves quickly through our area and leaves some incredible clouds in the sky - which makes the perfect background in your images.  I will watch the weather as your shoot approaches and we together we can assess how we want to proceed.  I will not shoot in cases of thunderstorms and lightening, but a little rain can be quite charming.

I will work with you to reschedule your photoshoot if you need to change the date.  A 50% deposit of the photosession is required at booking.  You need to cancel your photo session at least 72 hours in advance to receive your deposit back.

The golden hour generally provides the best soft light for photography.  Golden hour typically happens about one hour before sunset and shortly after sunrise.

Absolutely! I encourage our clients to share their ideas and preferences with me for their photography session. I want your photos to reflect your personality and style, so I am happy to accommodate specific requests as much as possible.

Wear whatever you are most comfortable in and feel your best wearing!  If at all possible,  try to coordinate with other members of the shoot. I recommend avoiding busy patterns and clashing color schemes.  For some ideas on what to wear, try searching on pinterest for some inspiration!
